To become a Sales Manager or partner with Travectory.com Webpage services, the customer potential partner must first register an account under their personal name if an individual (or their trade name for doing business) or the company name (Online Name as company name) if they are a Printing shop or Computer based design business. If they like the service, they also send to Jobs@travectory.com a description of their company or resume of themselves.
Upon approval as an agent of the company, the account is to be upgraded to a Sales Manager account. With sales manager account, the customer has the following additional functionality:
- Be part of the referral list and short list of managers when customers create personal accounts, business and property listings. This way, being on the list as a sales manager allows that account to collect customers under its control.
- The partner’s customers are to create their own account with the sales manager as the reference or manager. The account may be created by the customer or by the partner. This process of customers having their own accounts and manager having access to that customers listings and information allows for two tier content control and management.
- Any additional services charged to customers will provide kick backs to the partner. This provides local levels of management for customers providing a higher level of customer service and rewards both the partner and the corporation; ultimately managing a system that can grow with quality in mind from the local level of content management.
- Reports and customer relations management (CRM) features that are only available to sales managers.
The partner may ask the question, how does Travectory.com support their services without fees from the customer?
Good question. Travectory.com is a marketing company and there are many avenues by which is makes income like selling items on commission or direct marketing using the system. The partner receives all the fees for supporting the customer and Travectory.com gets quality and quantity of content online making it a practical search engine with good content.
The customer obligation is expected by not enforced is that they use the Travectory.com link in their traditional marketing methods such as flyers, brochures, menus and business cards which point to their webpage using the Travectory.com shortcuts as follows:

This level of support is all Travectory.com like to see from the customer. It is a win / win /win for all involved – the customer, the partner and Travectory.com
Customers who already purchased their domain name but have not pointed the website name to a server (parked) can purchase the redirection service. The redirection service is a one time fee that setup’s up the Xplorex DNS server to point to the webpage of the customer. For Example:
Customers business listing is http://www.travectory.com/B110.htm
Customer domain name purchased is http://www.canopytourspuertovallarta.com
The customer will point their account with Name Service provider like networksolutions.com to use ns.xplorex.com and ns1.xplorex.com.
Customer can buy the “Website DNS Redirect” from http://www.travectory.com/B170.htm - Travectory.com / Xplorex technical support will redirect http://www.canopytourspuertovallarta.com = http://www.travectory.com/B110.htm
This way, when customers use the .com domain name, it will hit directly the webpage belonging to the customer.
The fees will vary greatly depending on where you are. The suggested fees for Mexico and Canada/USA are as follows (for Canada fees, take 15% to the USD fee):
